After having a fun weekend, it was time to get back to business. I went in and talked to Lauren one on one to see what I could do to help out with upcoming events. I figured why not get an head start? She gave me tons of things to do and I made sure these things were done on time. This week is the start of a great week. Lets finish strong this week, because we have a very schedule week coming up.
Malone Was the team choosen to get beat by the Tiffin dragons this week. This game was during my birthday weekend, so I wanted to crush whoever we played against. This week was a very busy week for me, I had a ton of work to do for classes, work, and put in some time for my internship. When we win this game this weekend, I'll definitely go out and enjoy myself; after all why not I deserve it. Im in college, the first to go off to college since my father, I overcame a lot adversity to get to here, and I just like working hard all week and then turning up on the weekends. The Dragons Beat Malone and the group members and I went out and celebrated.
Dress code- Khaki and a Tiffin Polo is acceptable to wear at Tiffin events. If its cold, we still need to look professional if it's cold outside.

More fans started coming over and buying more merchandise. We take cash and we had a credit card swipe for those who didn't have cash. we were prepared for the worst. This game had a lot of people showing up since we are 2-0 . Everything was going good until it was halftime, The credit card swipe started to mess up, and that wasn't good for those who didn't have cash. I instantly had to stop what I was doing and go find Lauren who is always running around during the game. She told me how to fix it, I fixed it and more people were happy.
this past weekend we scored 40 points and our opponent Saginaw valley scored zero. This game was the start to the new season . We were going to be good this year. It's the second game of the year, we are starting to gain rhythm on the field and off the field. Today we sold a lot of merchandise to the alumni. I did notice that the prices were very high on the Athletic gear, so some people put the merchandise back once they realized how much it cost.
September 12th- My First Day
Today It was my job to write a script for the announcer to say when it was time for my team to do our event after the first quarter. Instead I told Lauren that I'm not good at writing, so I asked her if I could just come up with the events and someone else from the game and promotions team can write it up. The First game went well, we won and we sold a ton of merchandise, we had a lot of pictures of our fans enjoying the game, and most important everyone was happy and they had fun. The even that we did was simple but yet fun for the kids that we picked to participate. I Chose to do a game that involved kids shooting plastic balls into a bucket. The game involved two teams of 2 people, I chose two college students and two 8 year old kids. I had the kids shooting the balls and the college students holding the buckets; this way seemed more fun for the kids because they were doing all the shootings. Overall the event went well, The kids had fun, the crown was able to see the kids having fun and that's a start for our game and promotions team. Next time we do an event I think we need to focus on how to get the crowd more into what we are doing. On this specific day Lauren, the boss, started the official group chat. This was the way we would communicate as a group. We figured that would be the fastest and most consistent way to get responses; which we found to be true. At this point it was only about 4 to 5 of us working for the Tiffin game and promotion internship. Lauren did a wonderful job of making sure we knew about upcoming meetings and events. We met one time a week, however, I met with Lauren a couple times a week just to see if I could do extra things to help make life easier. I look at the individual meetings Lauren and I as brainstorming for the future. The conversations that we have are awesome, as the saying goes two great minds think alike! We would just sit and talk about how we could just overall make Tiffin better from a marketing stand point; the conversation would be endless. Overall having individual meetings with Lauren helped me realize how to market myself, how to run an official Athletics social media page, and how to do be an overall better game and promotions kind of guy.
